Pretty Boy is mahogany
brindle and white, and scales out at a muscular sixty-one pounds. He has black
eyes (free of problems and correctly shaped), and his flat skull has ears that
rose even when he's alert. His body is pear-shaped with a deep brisket,
with beautiful feet and nice bone, with a short back and a low-set tail. This guy is
definitely the total package. Moving straight down in front with excellent reach
and nice roll, Mr. Pretty is poetry in motion.
Ch. Cherokee Legend Pretty Boy descends from a strong line of
bitches that have produced Champions. Starting with Cherokee Falon, G.M. Beckett
Award winner, BCA Hall of Fame, and the Dam of three BCA Hall of Fame Champions out
of the same litter. One of those being Ch. Cherokee Mardel Sage, who is in the BCA
National Gallery of Winners and Hall of Fame. She was bred to Ch. Prestwick
Gawain, and together they produced Ch. Cherokee Legend Garth, (Sire of Ch. Little
Ponds Chief), Ch. Cherokee Legend Flower, (G. M. Beckett Award, BCA Hall of Fame,
and Dam of Ch. Cherokee Legend Donna), and Ch. Cherokee Legend
Dallas, (BCA Hall of Fame and Dam of Cherokee Legend Beatrice).
Pretty Boy's Sire is Ch. Legacy's Cajun Zeus, a BCA Hall Of
Fame Stud Dog and one of the top winning Bulldogs in breed history. His Dam is
Cherokee Legend Beatrice, who was sired by the top winning and producing Ch. Mugshots Standing Ovation and Ch. Cherokee Legend Dallas.
Ch. Cherokee Legend Pretty Boy's other grandfathers are Ch. Millcoats Titus, Ch.
Prestwick Gawain, Ch. Cherokee Yancy and Ch. Heatherbull Bounty Frigate - NEED I
SAY MORE?! The apples sure don't fall far from this tree. Pretty Boy
is in the Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame for stud dogs, third-tier. He was the BCA National Stud Dog Winner in 2006 and 2007. In 2006, he captured the coveted G. M. Beckett Award for producing the most champions in a five-year period. At the 2006 National Speciality Show he was awarded BOS from the Veterans' class, putting him in the National Gallery of Winners. Pretty Boy was the Sire that year of the BOB winner, Ch. My Toys Colors of the Wind. What a dream!
